A Scottish Palestinian living in Glasgow has stated that Israel's blockade of aid to Gaza is not only affecting Hamas but is also aimed at bringing the people of Gaza to their knees. The blockade has stopped the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip. Israel has warned of additional consequences if Hamas does not accept a new proposal for a ceasefire extension. The first phase of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, which included a surge in humanitarian assistance, expired on Saturday.
