The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have been designated as a foreign terrorist organization by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, fulfilling one of President Donald Trump's promises. The U.S. will not tolerate any country that does business with the Houthis, Rubio said. The Houthis have carried out over 100 attacks on vessels in the Red Sea, and the U.S. military has been defending its warships patrolling the area.
