The first group of 29 children in need of medical treatment have been evacuated from Gaza to Jordan. They include war wounded and children with diseases like cancer and rare blood conditions. The evacuation is part of an agreement between Israel and Jordan, with support from the United States. Each child is accompanied by a family member and all were cleared to leave by Israel.
