A man accused of making a bomb threat on a Virgin flight out of Sydney has blamed his arrest on a series of misunderstandings. Bernhard Roduner was overheard saying 'bomb' in a phone conversation, but claims he was referring to Tasmania. He also explained that he was travelling on a ticket in another person's name because a friend had booked two flights for his journey home. Roduner, who comes from a prominent Queensland family of restaurateurs, has written to Virgin but received no response.
