Union chiefs have been accused of hypocrisy by pressuring a cinema to stop selling Coca-Cola over links to Israel - after crowing about getting pay rises for staff at the global giant. The theatre is the latest to buckle from demands of campaigners pressuring the public and companies to avoid buying goods made by Israeli companies. But Unite has now been accused of hypocrisy after it emerged the union itself represented Coca-Cola workers in a fight over pay.
