A man in his 30s was taken to hospital in a 'serious condition' following a suspected acid attack in Plymouth. Israel Augustus, 25, of north London, has been charged with applying a 'destructive substance with intent to burn/maim/disfigure/do grievous bodily harm' and other offences. He is remanded into custody to appear before Plymouth Magistrates' Court.
