Adidas has sold the last of its Yeezy sneakers, the footwear line created with rapper and designer Ye, following his antisemitic comments in 2022. The company initially considered destroying the remaining inventory but ultimately decided to sell it and donate part of the profit to groups fighting discrimination and hate. The sale of the remaining Yeezy pairs brought in a total of 1.3 billion euros, and Adidas donated over 250 million euros to charity, with 200 million euros going to the adidas Foundation and the remaining 50 million euros to organizations combating discrimination and hate. Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden expressed optimism for the company's future and its desire to move past the Yeezy scandal.
