Bengaluru's Pranav Venkatesh has become the new world junior chess champion, continuing India's success in the sport. Pranav remained unbeaten in the World Junior (U-20) open championship, finishing on top of the table with nine points. He played out a quick draw in the final round to secure the title. Pranav is a part of Viswanathan Anand's Westbridge Anand Chess Academy.
