An investigative journalist, who believes Putin ordered his execution, narrowly escaped a honeytrapper who recorded the pin code to his phone. The journalist had exposed the spies responsible for the 2018 Salisbury poisoning. The honeytrapper, part of a Bulgarian duo known as 'The Brunette Twins', was part of a spying ring operating on behalf of the Kremlin. The group had been following and plotting against the Kremlin's enemies across Europe for three years.
