A newly released study challenges the International Criminal Court's investigation of starvation claims against Israel and exposes Hamas' role in controlling aid distribution. The study, led by Israeli public health experts, analyzes food shipments into Gaza from January to July 2024 and shows no evidence of famine or intentional deprivation. It finds that the daily per capita caloric supply averaged 3,374 kcal, meeting or exceeding international humanitarian food aid standards. The study also highlights Hamas' deliberate strategy of restricting access to food to maintain power and profit.
