Archaeologists in Hanover, Maryland, have unearthed rare artifacts that have ties to American abolitionist Harriet Tubman. The artifacts were found at the site of Tubman's father's home, providing insight into how the family lived 200 years ago. The home, located in the wetlands of the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, was discovered using historical documents. The site is not accessible to the public, but a virtual museum has been created by the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) for history buffs to explore.
