Rio de Janeiro police demolished a 'drug trafficking resort' used as a meeting point for drug traffickers in the city. The property, located in a group of favelas known as the Israel Complex, featured various amenities and was built by one of the state's most dangerous criminals. Arrest warrants were served and three suspects were arrested. The police operation resulted in the closure of a main expressway and temporary suspension of nearby bus and train lines.
