Dozens of protestors were arrested in New York City after demonstrating against the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a 'pro-Hamas' rioter. The protestors staged a sit-in at Columbia University before moving to Washington Square Park and marching through Lower Manhattan. At least a dozen protestors were handcuffed after blocking the streets and refusing to listen to NYPD instructions. Khalil, a graduate student and permanent U.S. resident, was arrested by ICE agents at his university-owned apartment.
