India's oil imports in February fell 0.8% from the previous month to about 5 million barrels per day (bpd), data obtained from trade and industry sources shows. Last month India's oil imports from Russian declined by about 3% from January to 1.5 million bpd, the data showed. The world's third biggest oil importer and consumer, India meets more than 80% of its oil needs through overseas shipments.
