Amnesty International has called for an investigation into Israel's attacks on ambulances, paramedics, and health facilities during its war with Hezbollah, stating that these attacks should be considered war crimes. Lebanon's then health minister reported that there were 67 attacks on hospitals and 238 attacks on emergency response organizations during the hostilities, resulting in numerous deaths and damage to medical facilities and vehicles. Amnesty International found no evidence that the facilities or vehicles were being used for military purposes at the time of the attacks. The Israeli military has not provided sufficient justifications or evidence of military targets to account for the repeated attacks.
