Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil felt like he was being kidnapped as he was rushed from New York to Louisiana by federal authorities. His lawyers described in a lawsuit how he was flown to Louisiana without being identified by the agents. Once there, he was left to sleep in a bunker with no pillow or blanket. The lawsuit was filed after a federal judge ordered that Khalil be allowed to speak with his lawyers. President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were added as defendants in the lawsuit seeking Khalil's release.
