A Royal Navy warship, HMS Lancaster, has seized £5.4 million worth of class A drugs in the Middle East. The warship intercepted smugglers transferring packages from a small fast boat to a traditional fishing vessel. The crew recovered a total of 340kg of heroin and 83kg of methamphetamine. HMS Lancaster is part of the international Combined Task Force 150, targeting illegal activity in the Middle East region.
