Israeli children gathered in cities across Israel to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim with vibrant parades and performances organized by the municipalities. In Jerusalem, costume wearers walked through the Mahane Yehuda market and Jaffa Street. Tel Aviv residents dressed in costumes filled Rothschild Boulevard, and Netanya held a superhero-themed celebration. Purim celebrations in Holon were kicked off by the return of released hostage Agam Berger.
