Rabbi Yitzhak Kesselman has been promoted to corporate vice president at Microsoft, making him the company's most senior ultra-Orthodox engineer. Kesselman, who was born in Riga, Latvia and raised in Ramle, Israel, will be responsible for the Messaging and Real-Time Analytics Platform team. He has been with Microsoft for almost nine years and previously worked at Google. Kesselman is based in New York but frequently travels to Israel to work with his team at the Herzliya development center. He is also studying to become an Orthodox Rabbi.
