An archaeological mission in Thailand has discovered evidence of an ancient city hidden beneath the modern streets of Nakhon Ratchasima. The discovery was made using aerial photographs taken in 1954, which revealed an earthen embankment suggesting artificial construction. The lost city is estimated to be twice the size of the old city and larger than other ancient communities in the area. The embankment's formation and its connection to nearby waterways indicate the presence of an ancient civilization predating the construction of the old moat. Further archaeological surveys and excavations are needed to confirm the findings.
