Over 24,000 articles could potentially be removed, including stories of Holocaust survivors and articles on race, gender, LGBTQ experiences, and other topics. The removal of these articles has sparked controversy and criticism. The Pentagon Press Secretary stated that pages that were inadvertently removed would be reinstated, but did not specify if or when the Holocaust-related articles would be restored.
