The world's happiest country has been revealed with Finland taking the top spot for the eighth year in a row. The UK falls to its lowest position since 2017, ranking 23rd, while the USA falls to its lowest ever position in 24th place. The report finds that sharing meals and trusting others are strong predictors of wellbeing, and that the majority of people underestimate the kindness of their communities. Serbia, Bulgaria, and Georgia have seen the biggest rises in happiness since the first World Happiness Report in 2012.
