The Israeli military intercepted a missile fired from Yemen, following the shooting down of two projectiles by Houthi militants. The Iran-aligned Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that it was the group's third in 48 hours. The Houthis have also alleged launching attacks against the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman. The group has vowed to escalate attacks, including those targeting Israel, in response to recent U.S. strikes. The Houthis have carried out over 100 attacks on shipping since Israel's war with Hamas began in 2023.
