An Orthodox Jewish passenger is suing United Airlines and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security after he was forcibly removed from an airplane bathroom while experiencing constipation, exposing his genitalia to other passengers. The passenger and a fellow Orthodox Jewish traveler were also forced to miss a connecting flight and were paraded through an airport terminal, placed in holding cells, and had their luggage searched by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers. The pilot broke the lock on the bathroom door and pulled the passenger out with his pants still around his ankles. The men were then escorted off the plane by Customs and Border Protection officers.
