A group of pro-Palestinian students, faculty, and activists have filed a lawsuit against the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) over its handling of anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian demonstrations. The lawsuit comes after the Trump administration joined a separate lawsuit filed by Jewish students and a professor, accusing the university of failing to protect them. Jewish students at UCLA have reported feeling unsafe due to antisemitic statements and banners displayed at the demonstrations. The lawsuit also alleges that UCLA failed to protect demonstrators when they were attacked by individuals armed with weapons.
