Auburn Tigers men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl made a passionate plea for the release of American hostage Edan Alexander from Hamas captivity in Gaza. Alexander is one of the 59 hostages still held by Hamas, with more than half believed to be dead. Pearl called on Hamas to release the hostages and criticized the lack of awareness about Alexander's situation in the United States.
