Yeshiva University's president, Rabbi Ari Berman, apologized for the way the school announced its recognition of an LGBTQ club, stating that the values of a typical 'Pride' club are 'antithetical' to the school. The settlement has been seen as a significant step for LGBTQ recognition in Orthodox spaces, but Berman's letter countered those ideas.
