Lebanese President Joseph Aoun is in Paris to discuss economic reforms and stabilizing the country with French President Emmanuel Macron. The talks come as a fragile truce between Israel and Hezbollah is under pressure. Aoun's visit is aimed at gaining support from Paris after the formation of a new government. The ceasefire deal, brokered by France and the US, has been violated by all parties involved. Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa will join the talks by video call to discuss the situation in Lebanon's neighbor. The Cypriot president and Greek prime minister will also attend the talks in person.
