Gaza war goes on cruise control in wait for hostage deal

The Gaza war has remained relatively stable in the past few days, with continued aerial attacks and limited ground incursions. The Israeli government appears to be holding off on further invasion in order to focus on reaching a new hostage deal with Hamas. The last major ground move was on March 26, when Palestinians were evacuated from northern Gaza. The most destructive part of the recent hostilities was on March 18, when the air force targeted significant Hamas officials. The situation remains tense as both sides navigate the ceasefire and hostage negotiations.
