Israel's National Insurance Institute has announced changes to assistance programs for families raising children orphaned in terror attacks. The new support packages will be based on the number of orphans cared for per household, their ages, and the number of guardians caring for them. The proposed amendment will increase the funds for monthly support for these guardians. Families caring for more than two orphans will receive additional compensation and increased support. These regulations are subject to approval by the Knessets Labor and Welfare Committee.
