UK's Starmer blames a lack of joint action as he struggles to stop...

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer blames a lack of coordination between U.K. police and intelligence agencies for the increase in migrants crossing the English Channel in small boats. Despite efforts to cooperate with France and other countries, over 6,600 migrants crossed the channel in the first three months of this year, the highest number on record. Starmer's center-left government is facing criticism for canceling the previous government's plan to send asylum-seekers who arrive by boat to Rwanda. At an international meeting on border security, Starmer called for joint action and intelligence sharing to tackle the problem at every step of the people smuggling routes.
