Many residents of Nuh wore black arm bands after Eid prayers to protest against the Centre's Waqf Amendment Bill. The Bill proposes changes to the management of Waqf properties, which has led to protests by the Muslim community in several states. In addition, residents of Ghasera village organized a march in solidarity with Palestinians, denouncing Israel's actions. In Tirwara village, violence erupted between two groups from the same family after Eid prayers, resulting in around 20 injuries.
