Several colleges targeted by ICE have offered financial aid to illegal immigrants, according to a GOP representative. Tufts University in Boston, for example, states on its website that illegal immigrants and individuals with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status are eligible to receive 100% of demonstrated need to attend the institution. The American Immigration Council reports that over 408,000 illegal immigrant students are enrolled in American colleges and universities. Rep. Burgess Owens suggests pulling federal funding from colleges that have been courting illegal immigrants. The Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism is reviewing over $255.6 million in contracts between the federal government and Harvard University.
