Archaeologists uncover proof of ancient biblical battle at Armageddon site: 'Exceptional phenomenon'

Archaeologists have uncovered evidence of an ancient biblical battle at the site of Armageddon in Israel. Fragments of Egyptian pottery were found during an excavation of the ancient city of Megiddo, believed to be the location of the Battle of Megiddo in 609 B.C. The artifacts provide proof of the Old Testament story and suggest that the pottery fragments belonged to the Egyptian army that defeated the Jewish leader Josiah. The findings also indicate the presence of Greek mercenaries in the Egyptian army at the time.
