Idan Amedi, star of 'Fauda', will be returning in the upcoming season after taking a break due to his music career. Amedi, a reservist in the Israel Defense Forces, had voluntarily returned to military service after the Hamas attacks on Israel. Producer Liat Benasuly explained that Amedi's growing commitments as a musician had made it difficult for him to continue with the series.
