It's a two-day visit, during which he will hold bilateral talks on regional cooperation with Thailand PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra on Thursday, and attend the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit on Friday. It's the 6th BIMSTEC summit since 1997, when it was established.
