Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was recently pardoned by President Donald Trump, has taken on a new job representing the interests of a politician known as the 'Bosnian Bear,' who has close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Blagojevich will lobby on behalf of the Republic of Srpska, a Serb-majority territory in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The region has a history of ethnic tension. Blagojevich's firm, RRB Strategies LLC, will provide communications and public affairs support for the Republic of Srpska.
