Yale fires legal scholar amid review of possible ties to 'sham...

Yale Law School has fired an Iranian scholar, Helyeh Doutaghi, after accusing her of refusing to cooperate in an investigation into her possible ties to a designated terrorist organization. Doutaghi denies being uncooperative and believes she was fired due to her criticism of the war in Gaza. Yale cited a posting on the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network's website as evidence, but Doutaghi claims the posting was from 2022 when Samidoun was not designated as a terror-supporting group. Doutaghi and her lawyer offered to answer Yale's questions in writing.
