Yale Law has fired Iranian scholar Helyeh Doutaghi over allegations of her ties to a US-designated terrorist organization. Doutaghi, who denies the claims, believes she was fired due to her criticism of the war in Gaza. Yale Law stated that Doutaghi was terminated after she refused to appear in person to answer questions about the allegations. The university cited a posting on the website of the Samidoun Network, the alleged terrorist organization, as evidence of her involvement.
