The Indian Army and DRDO have successfully tested the medium-range surface-to-air missile (MR-SAM) systems, developed in collaboration with Israel, with a 70-km interception range. The tests were conducted against high-speed aerial targets and the missiles successfully intercepted and destroyed them. The MR-SAM systems are designed to target hostile aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and drones at a range of 70-km.
