Iran has reportedly ordered its military personnel to leave Yemen in order to avoid a confrontation with the US as it continues to attack Houthi assets. Tehran is scaling back its support of proxies in the Middle East to focus on the direct threats from the United States. The move is a result of the primary concern of how to deal with US President Donald Trump. The Houthis in Yemen are now on the front line and have been conducting intensive attacks, as they rely on the Gaza war due to their lack of popularity in Yemen. They control Sanaa, print money, collect taxes, and disrupt international shipping routes in the Red Sea.
