Watch and the U.S. mission to the U.N. have both opposed her reappointment, with the U.S. mission stating that she has violated the U.N.'s Code of Conduct and is unfit for her role. The House Foreign Affairs Committee also expressed its opposition, stating that Albanese uses her position to promote antisemitic tropes and serve as a Hamas apologist.
