The Trump administration has terminated some of the last remaining lifesaving humanitarian programs across the Middle East, including major projects with the World Food Program, due to the convenience of the US Government. The projects provided food, water, medical care, and shelter for people displaced by war in countries such as Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe. This move comes as the Trump administration continues to dismantle the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and cancel thousands of USAID contracts.
