The FBI is set to investigate the CEO of Nakash Group Israel, Avi Hormaro, following a complaint filed against him in the US. The complaint alleges that Hormaro took tens of millions of dollars in rights for himself. This comes amidst a dispute within the Nakash brothers' business empire, with Avi Nakash claiming that Hormaro acted in a conflict of interest and undertook transactions without approval. Joe and Rafi Nakash are supporting Hormaro, and a settlement agreement was signed in July 2024. The Nakash Group holds assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars and owns Arkia Airlines and about 20 hotels in Israel and Europe.
