Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto has stated that the country is prepared to provide temporary shelter for Palestinians affected by the war in Gaza. The president estimates that the first wave could include around 1,000 individuals. He has instructed the foreign minister to discuss with the Palestinian side and other parties on how to evacuate impacted Palestinians to Indonesia. Jakarta has been supporting a two-state solution and has already sent humanitarian aid.
