The IAF operates defensively and offensively, eliminating terrorists and striking infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Navy supports maneuvering forces in the Gaza Strip and remains on alert for defensive and offensive missions at sea. Personnel from the Technological and Logistics Directorate provide support to IDF troops.
