ITV presenter Rageh Omaar, known as the 'Scud Stud', is set to return to screens on his first foreign assignment a year after falling ill live on-air. Omaar shocked viewers when he began to slur and stumble over his words during his news broadcast in April 2024. He remained on air until the segment ended, causing ITV to receive complaints. Omaar has been gradually returning to work and recently appeared on ITV's News At Ten in a pre-recorded package on West Africa.
