Palestinian billionaire Bashar Masri has resigned from his position at Harvard University after being accused in a lawsuit of aiding Hamas by financing tunnel infrastructure and rocket launch sites. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of 200 family members of October 7 victims, and claims that Masri violated the Anti-Terrorism Act. Masri's office has called the lawsuit 'baseless' and denies engaging in unlawful activity or supporting violence. Masri has also collaborated with Hamas officials in the past. He has previously served as an advisor to the Trump administration and is behind the construction of Rawabi, the first planned Palestinian city in the West Bank.
