US universities report visa revocations for students over Gaza stance

More than 100 students at southern US universities have had their visas revoked over their stance on the war in Gaza, according to reports. University representatives in southern states discovered that some students had their visas revoked or their immigration status changed. If a student's record is terminated in the federal tracking system, they must either leave the United States or reapply for reinstatement. A US immigration judge ruled that the Trump administration can proceed with its deportation case against Columbia University graduate student and Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil.
