State Department's bombshell memo on Turkish student nabbed by ICE

A Turkish student detained by ICE and had her US visa revoked has no known connections to antisemitism or terrorism, according to a State Department memo. Rumeysa Ozturk, a graduate student at Tufts University, was accused of supporting Hamas, but the memo found no evidence of this. The DHS and State Department could not back the claim that she was a threat, but she could potentially be deported under the Immigration and Nationality Act. Ozturk's detention has been criticized for violating her constitutional rights and for inhumane conditions in the Louisiana facility.
